The New ‘It’ Bag That You Need Right Now

I am a sucker for a bag but I always want to find one that is either a classic or will have longevity for the up-coming seasons. Because let’s face it, you don’t want to be saving your hard earned cash to spend on your dream bag for it then to fade into the unfashionable distance. The obvious front runners in the ‘it’ bag world have been the Chloe Faye, Gucci Dionysus, Fendi Peekaboo and the Givenchy Antigona who have all been hot on the scenes. So, what will be the next ‘it’ bag? Well, after reviewing many a fashion week show and reading a dozen articles, I have comprised a list of my favourite up-coming ‘it’ bags for next season. Top handles and vintage inspired bags have made a come back but also some of the classic shapes are here to stay. Gone are the days of plain, one tone bags as the streets are littered with embellished, crystallised, studded and logo bags that scream ‘i’m the next ‘it’ bag.

With Gucci clearly leading the way with the support and buying attitude of the hot Dionysus bag and Fendi close behind with there individual take inspired by fury miniature people. This season it looks like Dolce and Gabbana have revamped there style and seem to be following in there vibrant and exaggerative footsteps and looking to create some beautiful variations this year.

We all want to make the best decision when purchasing our next designer bag so read on if you want to find out whats going to be hot this up-coming season.

The Bracelet Bag

The rise of the bracelet bag, because carrying your bag is just too much effort. In true fashionista style there are always so many innovative pieces curating our style network. Chloe have done it again; meet ‘Nile’. He’s simple and chic but now even easier to handle. Just attach the loop around your wrist like a bracelet and you are good to go.

Not Just An Object

Various quirky object bags have been flooding the runways, we cute variations from many designers such as Thom Brown, Loewe and Moschino. Pair with a simple outfit for that instant ‘it’ bag.

Top Handle

We’ve seen cross body bags holding down the fort for quite a while now but now I think it’s time for the top handle to take the lead. But I am not talking about any kind of top handle ‘it’ bag, these bags are vibrant, bold and covered in expression. I am sure there is one out there for every kind of fashionista.

Embellishment

Bag’s dont have to be boring and one colour, they can be scattered in embellishment, studs and anything that goes really. We’ve seen eyes, faces, and hand painted creation for the last few seasons but this season I think it’s time to go all out. Crystal patterns and shapes that make uup pictures seem to be hot on trend and add detail to any outfit.

I hope you like this quick rundown of the new season ‘it’ bags and I hope one stumbles into your wardrobe not so accidentally on your next retail therapy trip!
